76 US Defence Personnel in SL on Training Programme
Seventy six US defence personnel have come to Sri Lanka to take part in a joint doctor-engineer training session to be held in Sri Lanka.

The programme will be attended by medical representatives from Maldives and Mongolia. According to Major General Udaya Medawala the US officials would remain in Sri Lanka until the 21st.

Main purpose of this training session is to take part in maintaining stability in the Asia pacific region and to improve the coordination between the defence forces, govt organizations and NGOs.
