20 SL Girls suffering in Malaysia PDF Print E-mail
A group of Sri Lankans have spoken to “Divaina” over the phone from Malaysia stated that 20 young girls sent to Malaysia for employment by a certain employment agency are suffering immensely without proper wages or proper facilities.

They also said that the passport and tickets of these girls are not given to them and as a result these girls a re unable to do anything. They also said that the above agency has promised them very good wages but the girls are paid only a pittance and are also forced to work for 12 hours a day. They are kept in a bldg at Neelai area and are taken 35 kms every day to a place called Bingi for work.
