General’s arrest is a violation of Human Rights - says Ranil |

UNP leader Ranil Wickramasinghe, who was on an Indian tour, cut short his trip and returned to Sri Lanka immediately after learning about the arrest of Gen. Sarath Fonseka.
Mr. Wickramasinghe said arresting of General Fonseka is done
erroneously, under the cover of his breaking military rules but in
reality it is a complete violation of the human rights.
The joint opposition will announce today the actions they plan to take in this regard.
