Former tamil politicians come home |

Politicians and public servants who fled the country due to LTTE threat had agreed to return and work for the government at the upcoming general election, government sources said.
Former Minister S. Ganeshamurthy who lives in London and former
Batticaloa District Secretary Ratnam Mounagurusamy are among those who
are ready to come back.
Minister Vinayagamurthy Muralitharan alias Karuna told Daily Mirror
yesterday that Mr. Ganeshamurthy had agreed to contest the election
under the UPFA’s Betel leaf symbol.
