Militarized people lack Governing Ability- Pillayan PDF Print E-mail
Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan says Sarath Fonseka cannot make a successful political figure  due to his lack of exposure in politics and extensive military trainings.

Speaking at a TMVP meeting held in Kalawanchikudi at Batticolor, the chief Minister for Eastern province says the reasoning of some of Tamil political parties supporting Sarath Fonseka, claiming his capacity to make a difference to the country is a far fetched and near impossible ideal.

“He served in Military Uniform from his youth to a ripe old age. Such militarized persons cannot comprehend the problems of the minority. He is lacking political knowledge and the proper background.” says the ex LTTE cadre turned Government minister.

The chief minister further disclosed the harassing situations he undergoes when councilors of the Eastern province with former military servings, fail to cooperate positively for smooth Governance. “ These former military personages show an evident lack of patience and empathy when governing. It is a hard task to speak eye to eye with them and impossible to speak your mind without rousing their displeasure and annoyance. Their rigid and inflexible state of perception makes them pathetic political leaders”
