Swindle with Solar Lanterns? Anura accuses Berty rejects PDF Print E-mail
During a press conference in Anuradhapura opposition leader of the north central province K. Anura Dhanayake stated that during the purchase of solar powered lanterns to be distributed to families without electricity and construction of milk collecting centers, a massive swindle of Rs. 100 million has taken place.
He also said that when they presented a proposal in this regard to the assembly govt members did not allow us to do so and the end the chairman of the assembly walked out postponing it and that is why we are revealing it through a press conference.

But rejecting the accusations of Anura Dhanayake, Chief Minister of the North Central Province Berty Premalal Dissanayake says “Since the UNP has nothing to say to public during the coming elections, they are making all kinds of false allegations now itself and are planning a mudslinging campaign against the NCP assembly”.
