Unions work to Rule Army ready to take up Essential Services PDF Print E-mail
The Joint Federation of Trade Unions of Ceylon Petroleum Corp, the Water board, Port authority and Ceylon Electric Board says that they have launched a three-day work to rule from today.

Due to this action the provision of services by the above Institutions can be hampered badly.
The Federation also said that the govt will be responsible for all the inconvenience this would cause to the gen public.

Meanwhile Army spokesman Brig. Udaya Nanayakkara said that the army is fully geared to maintain the essential services if they are called to do during the work to rule campaign launched by the trade unions, in order to ensure that the public do not suffer due to it.
