Abducted Sri Lankan saved in Malaysia PDF Print E-mail
Malaysian police was able to save a 16 year boy and two others who were abducted and kept hidden in a residential house at Set park area.

Both elders 57 and 63 years had not been given any food but had been kept under the influence of drugs. Police arrested 6 persons including one Lankan. Once the youth was arrested his parents had given 5000 Euros as ransom to release their child. Police immediately got alert and started the action against the abductors.

In two days the police was able to get at the boy who was kept in a house forcibly. Police are now hunting for the mastermind behind the plan. Whether the illegal smugglers of persons are involved in the trick is what the police are after. The abducted youth and the elders are kept under police protection to help in the investigation while the 6 suspects were sent to remand.
