Sri Lanka introduces Entry Fee |

Nationals who have previously received a free entry Visa stamp on arrival in Colombo, will have to pay for for the entry Visa From April 2012.
This visa can be applied before the visit to Sri Lanka online as an „Electronic Travel Athorization" (ETA) under www.eta.gov.lk. Apart from that, it can also be obtained by at a Srilankan representation abroad or via a travel agency.
The Online visa – is only for one time and valid only for 30 days costs 20 US Dollars and a visa on arrival will be 25 US Dollars. For transit-travellers and children under 12 are free from these payments.
