Christine Robinson the French ambassador for Lanka said France would help develop the whole country including the North and East.

French government has come forward to build a modern hospital at Rs.400 millions in the north to help the people of the area enjoy better health care when the ambassador met the

Premier at the official residence of the premier at Visumbawila. The ambassador pointed out that they have already helped to supply fresh drinking water to 300,000 persons of Trincomalee with drinking water. It also reconstructed 15-bridges found along A-15 high way. It would also help the fishermen of the north to revive their lost fishing activities.
